What does the
program provide?
A comprehensive eye examination
as well as eyeglasses and / or
contact lenses.
How does the
program work?
The program is very simple to
use. The patient simply select a
doctor of their choice and calls
for an appointment. The doctor’s
office handles everything else.
How is
eligibility determined?
Eligibility is determined from
day to day communication with
our clients. The doctor will
obtain the necessary information
directly from VHPO.
Is the whole
family eligible?
Yes, generally the spouse and
dependent children are covered.
Coverage continues up to age 19
or if a full time student
usually up to 23. (Other types
of coverage are available).
Who are the
doctors?
Doctors include private practice
optometrists and
ophthalmologists selected based
upon their professional
qualifications and reputation.
The panel is limited to
effective cost control and to
maintain quality standards.
